PATER – Territorial Employment Pact in the Ribera county The Territorial Employment Pact in the Ribera county (PATER) is an autonomous and local organism. That means that PATER is an autonomous corporate body, therefore PATER is able to engage directly its own staff, hire services, purchase all kind of goods and ask for a loan. This pact has arisen thanks to the new European strategy in employment affairs. This new way to proceed enhanced the direction of the actions from the bottom to the top, and not from the top to the bottom. In this sense, this new way tries to join more and more the local agents involved in employment affairs with the purpose of getting the change in this strategy.

Center of Phisical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a public – under the ministry of health -  educational center and social support for people with disabilities and provide resources, information, and education to assist them in our society. The main goal is an integrated community that equally welcomes all members. People with disabilities are a powerful and significant part of our community, a group our social roles have been marginalized by bigotry, discrimination, poverty, isolation, dependency and pity. Greeks with disabilities have not had access to transportation, housing and employment that other citizens have enjoyed. Many services, programs, charities, organizations and agencies, and of course KEKYKAMEA (one of those) in our community encourage the equal rights and independency of people with disabilities and remove the risk of failure.
