EAN (European Antibullying Network) together with Hallgarten Franchetti Centro Studi Villa Montesca Foundation organize the first international event on bullying in memory of Dan Olweus, father of bullying research who recently passed away. It is Olweus who coined the term bullying and gave the first scientific definition. He was also the author of the most widespread intervention and prevention program (Olweus Bullying Prevention Program). Villa Montesca Foundation and EAN (of which Olweus was Honorary President) dedicate a series of 3 on-line events to the great expert professor with the aim of investigating  the meaning of bullying today. Speakers will be the more relevant European, American and Canadian experts.
